Applicants may come from art history, visual/media studies, humanities, social sciences, computer science, information science, design or related backgrounds. Duke publishes no single required undergraduate major; the application should demonstrate preparation for the selected track and an interdisciplinary digital project.

TOEFL

IELTS

最低要求：Waived 官网原文：IELTS Academic 7.0; Duolingo English Test 125 is also accepted. A waiver may apply after at least two full-time years at a college or university in a country where English is the primary spoken language and the sole language of instruction, subject to Duke's stated conditions.

GRE / GMAT

Writing Sample

Required: statement of purpose, resume/CV, three recommendations and a 10-20 page writing sample. Applicants may also submit an optional digital-work sample or portfolio relevant to the proposed track.

Three or four academic semesters plus summer research, normally 18 months to two years. The degree requires 10 graduate courses and a hybrid written-and-digital thesis or exhibition.
