A bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Required prior study includes one semester of biochemistry plus at least one semester in two of: cell biology, developmental biology, epigenetics, genetics/molecular genetics, microbiology, molecular biology or molecular physiology.
