学术方向与项目定位
基础覆盖linear algebra、numerical methods、probability、statistics、real analysis/PDE、optimization、stochastic modeling与programming。进入项目后可围绕Financial Mathematics、Financial Data Science、Financial Technology、Financial Markets或PhD preparation构造个人课程组合。
课程结构与培养方式
45 units由5个板块组成：Foundational 9、Programming 9、Finance electives 9、Data Science electives 12、Practical component 6。ICME与Mathematics、Management Science and Engineering及Statistics合作供课。官网FAQ表明常规六个quarters完成，前三个quarters后的summer internship是常见实践环节，极少数学生可五个quarters完成。
申请要求
项目接受多种本科专业，但要求强数学准备，建议已修线性代数、数值方法、概率统计、随机过程、实分析/PDE，并有C/C++或同等编程能力。金融工作经验不是必须。材料包括全部高等教育经历、unofficial transcripts、CV/résumé、三封推荐、statements/short answers和详细course preparation。申请费125美元。
语言与考试要求
GRE为Not required，且ICME明确不接收、不考虑GRE。Stanford英语最低为旧制TOEFL 90或新制4.5、IELTS 7.0；达TOEFL 109/5.5或IELTS 8可免入学English Placement Test，code 4704。符合全英语学位或近10年内连续两年全职英语学习/工作等条件可免。审核用unofficial transcripts，录取并接受offer后再送official records，无WES/ECE强制要求，成绩认证为Not required。
截止日期与项目节奏
Autumn 2027-28外部MS申请截止于2027年1月29日11:59 PM Pacific；Knight-Hennessy申请人的ICME截止日为2026年10月6日1:00 PM Pacific。外部申请仅Autumn入学，不应把Stanford本科coterm日期当成外部申请日期。常规六quarters，学费按Stanford Engineering当年费率计算；TA/RA机会有限且不保证。
就业与发展方向
MCF直接面向data/information scientist、quantitative strategist、risk manager、regulator和financial technologist，也可为计算金融、统计、运筹或应用数学PhD做准备。数据科学选修与practical component有助于将理论模型落地到市场数据、交易、风险或金融产品问题。
适配人群与申请建议
适合已具备较深数学训练、能独立编程并对金融问题有真实兴趣的申请人。申请表的course-preparation部分要逐门写清课程、教材、topics和成绩，是高权重环节。文书应把数学方法、代码实现和金融场景连起来，而不只表达对量化金融的兴趣。

A strong quantitative background is expected, including linear algebra, numerical methods, probability, statistics, real analysis or partial differential equations, programming and proficiency in C/C++. Finance work experience is not required, but interest in finance and relevant internship or industry exposure can be useful.
TOEFL
最低要求：Min 90 官网原文：Stanford minimum: TOEFL iBT 90 for tests before January 21, 2026 or 4.5 for tests on or after that date. TOEFL 109/5.5 exempts an admitted student from Stanford's English Placement Test; lower qualifying scores still require the placement test.
IELTS

No separate academic writing sample is listed. ICME requires application statements and short answers, including an MS career-goals response, a required lay-audience short answer and Stanford's learning-community statement, plus a CV/résumé.

The MCF track requires 45 units and is normally completed in six quarters, with a summer internship commonly taken after the first three quarters. Exceptional students may complete it in five quarters.
秋季截止日期
Autumn 2027-28 external MS applicants: January 29, 2027 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Knight-Hennessy applicants must submit the ICME application by October 6, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific Time. External applicants are admitted only for Autumn.
春季截止日期
Not offered to external applicants: ICME admits external MS students for Autumn only. January 8, 2027 Spring/Fall coterm dates apply only to current Stanford undergraduates and are not external deadlines.
