斯坦福大学 Philosophy MA 包括 general program，以及 Symbolic Systems 和 Philosophy of Language 两个 special program。项目提供哲学主要分支的系统训练，但系里明确说明 MA 不应被视为进入 PhD 的跳板，二者是分开的学位路径。 该硕士适合已经具备较强哲学基础、希望在逻辑、语言、心灵与行动、形而上学、认识论、价值理论、科学哲学或哲学史等方向深化课程训练的学生。项目重视课程广度、核心领域分布和在某一领域形成较明确的 specialization。
