A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution is required. No business major or work experience is mandatory. Strong quantitative preparation in mathematics, computer science, economics, statistics, engineering or physics is encouraged; applicants without sufficient quantitative coursework are advised to have three or more years of analytics-related work experience.

TOEFL

最低要求：Waived 官网原文：TOEFL iBT 80 minimum under the current programme FAQ; scores are valid for two years and must be sent to institution code 4859. Applicants may qualify for a waiver through a U.S. degree or a degree from a WHED-listed institution where English was the sole language of instruction.

IELTS

最低要求：Waived 官网原文：IELTS Academic overall 7.0 with no individual module below 6.0. Results must be submitted electronically by the test centre. The same WHED solely-English-medium degree waiver conditions apply.

GRE / GMAT

GRE Subject

Others: the optional rule concerns the GMAT or GRE generally and does not publish a GRE Subject Test policy.

成绩认证

Not required: applicants submit unofficial transcripts with English translation where needed; UCI conducts its own transcript evaluation. The programme explicitly says WES evaluations are not accepted as official credential determinations.

Writing Sample

Required materials include resume, two essays (one video and one written), unofficial transcripts, two academic or professional references, English results where applicable, a $150 application fee and an invitation-only interview. No separate academic writing sample or portfolio is listed.

项目时长

At least 52 units, full-time and on campus. The standard structure is four consecutive quarters (about 11 months/one year); a five-quarter option distributes electives into an additional summer. The current programme begins in late July/Summer.

Summer 2027 entry: Round 1 October 15, 2026; Round 2 December 1, 2026; Round 3 February 1, 2027 (housing priority and recommended for international applicants); Round 4 April 1, 2027 (international final); Round 5 June 1, 2027 (domestic final). Applications are rolling.

Not offered for this full-time on-campus route: the current cycle is Summer 2027 with a late-July start, and no Spring entry is published.
