核心课程共八门，覆盖公共卫生基础、生物统计、流行病与人口健康、美国健康政策、健康不平等、项目规划评估、健康传播与实践。 课程结构包括八门核心课、三门方向课、两门选修课、applied practice experience 和 capstone project。 暑期 practicum 至少 80 小时，可在大芝加哥地区、美国其他地区或海外公共卫生相关组织中完成。 capstone 要求学生在 faculty mentor 指导下完成研究型或应用型成果，并通过最终论文与展示收束训练。

先修课程
There are no specific courses required for admission. Public health is an interdisciplinary field, and a number of academic and experience backgrounds may be relevant. However, because all of the concentrations require coursework in biostatistics, applications should be prepared for quantitatively-rigorous coursework. Undergraduate training in biology is not a prerequisite for the program.
